Dear Mt. Olivet,
Thank you for working on the Habitat Construction site on Saturday, February 9th, 2008! Your efforts have helped move Cynthia Jordan's family one step closer to achieving their dream of owning a home. Below you will find a link to view photos taken on the work site that day. Please enjoy them and share with your congregation, family and friends! Again, we thank you for all of your hard work and we look forward to working with you again soon!
In partnership,
Allison Howe and the Habitat Cabarrus Staff

2007 Homes

At the beginning of 2007, the youth group with four or five adult chaperones had two Habitat assignments in Concord in the Magnolia Crossing neighborhood. On January 6th they helped finish a garden shed and landscaping on two houses. The interior of one of these houses had to be painted on March 17, 2007. 15 youth and adults finished this job within four hours.

In Kannapolis help was needed on two different Habitat sites. On July 21, 16 adults from Mt. Olivet joined forces with a coorporate group to frame a house on Kennedy Street. The youth group put up siding on a house on Princeton Street on August 11 and finished that same project up with yard cleaning and landscaping on September 22, 2007.
